In addition to several funds available in the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS), Mali is setting up a national investment fund and a guarantee fund for Small and Medium Size Enterprises. Foreigners who make investments or occupy positions in Malian enterprises have the right, subject to compliance with foreign exchange regulations, to transfer, in the currency used at the time of constitution of the said investments, profits, all types of proceeds from the invested capital, proceeds from liquidation or realization of their assets and salaries. |
