Direct investment in Lazio - flag

Lazio Sponsored by Sviluppo Lazio

Why Us

Sviluppo Lazio’s, the regional agency created in 1999, promotes business culture, territorial development programmes, and takes part in infrastructure investment projects.
Sviluppo Lazio carries out the implementation of the European Structural Funds-Objective 2 (the EU “Single Programming Documents” Financial Instrument 2000/2006), which provides business incentives and therefore supports Lazio’s development and equitable economic growth, and boosts investments and global partnerships.
The Territorial Marketing area of Sviluppo Lazio illustrates the potential of business opportunities in Lazio in order to identify the specific needs of investors, and to make better matches between demand and offer. Moreover, it promotes public-private partnerships by reducing bureaucracy and other public administration obstacles that could cause delays and increase costs. Through the Territorial Marketing Programme, FDI inflows increased and numerous opportunities for investors were identified (in four main business sectors: high-tech, tourism, logistics, industrial parks), that will allow them to set up, expand and consolidate their businesses.
