Enhanced Enterprise Zone State Tax Credits - provides tax credits to new or expanding businesses in a Missouri Enhanced Enterprise Zone (EEZ). Tax credits may be provided each year for five tax years after the project commences operations. Eligible investment includes the original cost of machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures, land and building. Missouri allows manufacturers an exemption on energy purchases used in the manufacturing process. Machinery and equipment used to establish a new, or expand an existing manufacturing facility is tax-exempt, provide such M&E is used directly to manufacture a product for sale.

The Missouri Partnership, through its extensive network of regional economic development organizations, will assist companies with identifying the perfect site. Local incentives may be available to assist with infrastructure improvements or the project may qualify for Community Development Block Grant infrastructure assistance.

Job Training Grants - The training programs in Missouri can provide funding for training for the specific needs of your company. Training assistance can include skill assessments, pre-employment training, instructor costs, curriculum development, travel and a variety of other training-related services. Employee Recruitment and Referral - The Division of Workforce Developments network of local Business Representatives is available to assist with recruiting and hiring needs at no cost to your business. Provide assistance with advertising job openings, pre-screening of applicants and assessing applicants on their skills and abilities with aptitude or occupational tests.
